Joachim Johansson retired this week because of persistent injuries. The one-time Slam winner from Sweden ...
Oh, not Thomas?
Joachim.
OMG!
Who?
Seriously, farewell, Joachim, you former-top-tenner, you. You get some TWA props for beating Andy Roddick in the quarters of the U.S. Open ... in 2004. Usually, I tend to ask "What have you done for me lately?" I'll let it slide. Here's hoping you saved some of that $1.5 million in prize money. Really sad though, when a player has to end his career because injuries won't let him go on.
No matter how they're obtained.
I hear he used to date Lleyton Hewitt's sister, Jaslyn 'The Hulk' Hewitt. He probably still hears "You won't like me when I'm angry" in his nightmares.

Holy crap, I didn't even know he retired. Well good riddance I say, his tennis was boring and without variety. But that's coming from me, a guy who hates watching players that serve bombs all day.
I'm sure the legions are devastated by this news. I'm with you, though, which is why I cannot watch Roddick play, unless it's against someone who can return his serves. Yo, thanks for stopping in.
